The Huskies came to visit

 

During Term 3 Yr 1 and 2 were lucky enough to be visited by 7 Husky Dogs and their owner Jayne Kingdon.

 

This fitted in with our topic 'It's Cold Here' which we used to learn about the Arctic and Antarctic and animals that live in cold climates

 

 

       

 

 

   

 

 

 

Meeting the Firemen

 

Firemen from Banbury Firestation came to visit Years 1 and 2 on Tuesday 7th October. The children were able to look around the fire engine, talk about the types of tools used in different emergencies and were very excited when they each got to have a turn at pretending to put out a fire by spraying water from the hose.
